I am so sick of this blatant fear-mongering to sell potentially dangerous drugs and vaccines. And how low do you have to be to TEST vaccines on innocent children? Never in a million years would I allow my child to be a guinea pig for these sick experiments.

In 1979 ONE person died of "Swine Flu" and HUNDREDS were killed or injured by the vaccine. My aunt has been paralyzed with Guillain-Barre Syndrom since dutifully rolling up her sleeve in 1979 for that so-called epidemic.

Not true. Restraints and seclusion are used on special needs kids for only minor infractions. This happens constantly in schools all over the country. I'm sure many of these "educators" bank on the fact that a lot of these students are non-verbal and cannot convey their abuse to anyone.

This is such a tragedy. The parents of these children came here for a better life, and instead their children are profoundly disabled. The worst part is this is entirely preventable. Somalis are given vaccines before they are allowed to emigrate here, and many times they're doubled up once they get here. Then their children are given vaccines. They are essentially being poisoned. In Somalia, previous generations have not received these vaccines, and then suddenly they're getting massive amounts of them first in the moms and then in the babies. This has got to stop!!

The Republican agenda is very simple : Protecting their pals in Big Pharma and Big Insurance at all costs, even if it is at the cost of our children's future. What we parents need is the ability to pay for the services we have already researched and require to help our children. We don't have the luxury of time. This is not about letting the market drive supply and demand of good and services. We're talking about our children's lives! Congress needs to stop stonewalling and actually DO something!

Finally, some truth in autism research! The report calls for studies of “metals", which would include Thimerosal and aluminum in vaccines, and “infectious agents”, which would include the live virus MMR and Varicella (Chicken Pox) vaccines.

And there are many other environmental factors to address, such as pesticides (Women in CA’s Central Valley who live near crops are far more likely to have children with autism) and mercury from coal burning plants in China carried across the Pacific (California, Oregon and Washington are in the direct path ofthe mercury plume and have huge autism populations),

The time has finally come to reject the ridiculous claims of “better diagnosis” to explain away an epidemic. Autism's dramatic rise cannot possibly be attributed to that tired mantra we still hear from far too many public health officials: It's due to better diagnosing and counting. Something has made our children gravely ill and we need to find out what it is, NOW!

The autism epidemic is REAL, and it is not caused by genes alone. You cannot have a genetic epidemic. It really is time that we, as a society, accept that cold, hard truth.

We must still continue to look for the susceptibility genes that clearly make some kids more vulnerable to environmental triggers, most likely through a diminished capacity to detoxify themselves.

But the sooner our best minds in science and medicine come to grips with the fact that our children have been exposed to the wrong environmental toxins and/or infectious agents at the wrong time, the sooner we can find out how to best treat what really ails them.

I heartily applaud those parents who are standing up to this ridiculous law. The influenza vaccine never had a placebo controlled clinical study prior to being approved and circulated. This is supposed to be the "gold standard" of medicine. No clinical study has ever shown flu shots to be effective. In fact, specific studies involving the age group of 2 mos to 6 yrs showed clearly it was ineffective, as did the recent studies using an elderly population. And yet, it is recommended daily in these age groups. Why? $$$$
The most commonly administered flu shots contain formaldehyde (a carcinogen) and methyl mercury (a known neurotoxin), and the others contain aluminum, also very toxic to many body systems. The problem is that the FDA as well as the EPA are asleep at the wheel, while drug companies are profiting at the expense of innocent people.
Parents and doctors both need to be dubious of vaccines. There is too much corruption in the system. We need to stop pretending that all children are the same and and can be given the same things. We also need to stop pretending that vaccines are perfect and as safe as can be. There are many adverse reactions to vaccinations. Visit the National Vaccine Information Center and research VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System). Many children suffer from seizures, brain injury, autoimmune disorders, allergic reactions, and autism as a result of vaccine injury. It should ALWAYS be each parents right to decide on what to put in their children's bodies. And to those who say unvaccinated children put their own children at risk: If the vaccine actually works, what are you so afraid of? The answer is it doesn't work, and it's potentially dangerous. It's all about lining the pockets of doctors and pharmaceutical companies.
