Head start: Pre-K programs boost learning

The Oklahoman Editorial -- Fans of early childhood education have known for years that Oklahoma's a national leader. That was confirmed again recently, when Georgetown University researchers reported their examination of pre-kindergarten programs in Tulsa found substantial gains in early math, reading and writing skills.

It is great to be an early childhood teacher in Oklahoma. Thank you Oklahoma for your high standards for early childhood, leading the pack. All states should take notice of Oklahoma and follow suit. 0
