Beekeeping takes flight in primary school

Educators at a primary school in Greenwich, England, say students' behaviour has improved since they integrated beekeeping into its curriculum. Students maintain a school hive and market and sell the honey -- a process that requires them to use math to weigh the honey and determine pricing. The students also use their honey in cooking courses and learn about bees in other classes, such as geography.
