Oklahoma legislator seeks education summit

A state lawmaker called Friday for a summit to look at ways to tighten what he called Oklahoma's bloated educational system and look at ways to improve education on all fronts in the state.

You can go into any public school system in the state ... that are really, really struggling. If that child goes home every night to no father, a mother that's working two jobs, nobody's there to make sure they eat well ...
