Educators this week were allowed electronic access to AP scores. Students can get their scores from their schools, can pay a fee to see their scores online at collegeboard.com or can wait for them to be mailed in the next few weeks, said Cathy Douglas, executive director of advanced placement and gifted education for the state Education Department.

AP is very rigorous. Students should not enter AP classes just for AP credit. The credit is a bonus. There are so many students who don't get the credit, but they go to OU or OSU and they do so well because the rigor level is so outstanding. AP is about college preparation. A lot of people don't understand that. -- Toni Jones
