Gov. Brad Henry signs teacher evaluation bill into law

An education reform bill that among other things ties teacher evaluations to student performance and is the backbone of Oklahoma's application for $175 million in federal funds is now law.

We have made great strides in improving education in Oklahoma, and this legislation marks one more step forward in recognizing our best and brightest teachers and giving them the tools they need to help our students excel. -- Brad Henry
